Projects

At Benedict International, Inc., we:

-- construct boreholes to provide potable water, empowering communities that have to walk miles in search of water;

 

-- find shelter and affordable accommodation for homeless, battered women with children;

-- fund small businesses and training programs, to move women from vulnerable street vendors to successful small business owners;

-- provide customized or personal care services to the disabled;

-- provide a daycare program for disabled young adults who are locked up at home or otherwise socially excluded;

-- assist the mentally and/or physically disabled by providing customized care and services;

-- assist the neglected elderly;

-- facilitate the transition of female ex-convicts to society, whose incarceration were related to a mental health breakdown;

-- liaise with federal, state, town and city agencies to promote a focus on compassion and mental health and discrimination issues;

-- write articles and blogs highlighting the issues of poverty, and its causes and effects;

-- provide transportation for homeless families;

- provide luggages (boxes) for children who are moved into foster care;

- support community activities that support minorities;
